How do you choose a private Guidewire institute?
The private training market in India is unregulated and quality is inconsistent. Apply these five filters before paying:
- Demand live software access. If the demo shows only slides and screen recordings, walk away. You cannot learn PCF configuration without touching the software.
- Ask which version they teach. Anything older than a recent Guidewire Cloud release means you will learn deprecated patterns. Ask specifically whether the syllabus covers cloud-era topics (Jutro, Cloud API, Integration Gateway).
- Check the trainer's project history. A real Guidewire consultant can tell you which insurer and which module they worked on. Vague answers are a red flag.
